School Class Pen Pal Services
Teacher Information
This programme is available for Teachers, School Classes, Girl Guides, Boy Scouts and all Youth Groups aged 10-17 years. There are over 70,000 students registered as I.P.F. members in 192 countries.
Through the pen pal hobby, students have the opportunity to learn not only good writing techniques and develop their existing hobbies, but can also gain a deeper understanding of such subjects as: history, geography, travel, languages, literature, art., etc.
When you enroll a school class (minimum 10 students), each student receives a list of 4 names and addresses of IPF members in their age group. The name and home address of each student will also be passed to 10 other club members. This provides the best opportunity for each student to gain many pen pals. All the pen pal lists are sent to the teacher by postal mail. This service is available for US$ 5.50 per student (or CAN$ 5.50, or € 4 or UK£3).
Teachers can participate in our individual services . Teachers who enrol school classes with us are entitled to a 50% discount off adult admission rates.

'People & Places' Magazine - *Highly Recommended*
IPF's magazine 'People & Places' is a fun and informative way to stay in touch with the pen pal world. The full-colour magazine includes the latest IPF news and items submitted by members including member profiles, pen pal stories, letter writing adventures and advice, travel articles, poems etc. There are also competitions, give-aways and a prize of US$200 for the best article published in each edition. Subscription details for 'People & Places' are shown on our application form (M1 and M2 Service).

Letter Writing/Pen pal Hints Booklet:
IPF publishes a booklet on letter writing and pen pal hints that has been designed to enhance the pen pal experience for people of all ages. Details to order the booklet are shown on our application form (B1 Service).
