How to Enter


Full terms and conditions appear on the entry form with this information, and can be photocopied. The entry form can also be obtained from your local IPF representative, admin@ipf.net.au, www.ipf.net.au or the address shown opposite. If requesting an entry form to be posted to you and you live locally, please send a Stamped Self Addressed Envelope with your request. If you don’t live locally, please send an International Reply Coupon (IRC obtainable from most post offices) with your request.

Judging Criteria


The judging panel will consist of IPF representatives from Head Office and a variety of countries. Judges will be looking for: well-presented layout; appropriate use of language, spelling and grammar (with consideration given to those whose first language is not English); the use of original ideas; creativity; imagination; emotion; the ability to intrigue and entertain the reader, or capture the reader’s heart. Letters can be serious or humorous and judges will apply the above in accordance with the sentiment of the letter.

    Letters can be handwritten or typed and must be in the English language. One entry allowed for each member. Entries close 31 July 2006. Prizes will be sent to winners in October 2006.

    School of the Winning Student: US$250 US$150 US$75
    For members in our C Services*:
    8-14 years: US$100 US$50 US$25

    21-60 years: US$100 US$50 US$25
    61 years and over: US$100 US$50 US$25
    *You will be entered into the age category of your current
    IPF membership.
